Training and Events

EVICS offers free, or low-cost, training opportunities for licensed child care providers and care center staff. Our training events meet state licensing requirements for continuing education.

EVICS Early Childhood Annual Conference

Networking Nights

Each month, September through May, EVICS holds a professional development opportunity for Early Childcare Educators.  Join us to explore new topics in the field of Early Childhood Education, network with other educators and providers, and gain professional development credits you need.  Contact EVICS for the schedule and topics for monthly Networking Nights.

Licensing Assistance

Estes Valley is in great need for more childcare providers as many of our current providers have waiting lists.  If you’re interested in becoming licensed, we’re here to help!  EVICS provides assistance to individuals or organizations wanting to begin a licensed program., whether you need help navigating the piles of paperwork or recruiting families. Professional Development Scholarships

Interested in joining the field of Early Childhood Education, but need some assistance to get that degree?  The Early Childhood Council of Larimer County offers scholarships for college classes to individuals working in or preparing to work in the field of early childhood and who live, work or attend school in Larimer County.

T.E.A.C.H is an Early Childhood College Scholarship Program that works to increase the education levels of Colorado’s child care professionals, reduce turnover in the child care field and increase the child care wages.

Scholarship Participation

All licensed providers in the Estes Park area are eligible to participate in our local Child Care Scholarship Program. Qualifying families can apply for assistance through EVICS and all scholarships are awarded based on need.  If you have a family that may need assistance, please provide them with our scholarship information.
